Open Link Monday

Welcome to the Imaginary Garden...

... and the company of real toads.

Good day to all poet friends! I hope that today will be a very good Monday and the start to a productive week. I say this in the hopes of boosting my own morale, since it is the first day of school in South Africa, which means back to work for me after six weeks of Summer vacation. I shall certainly look forward to a relaxed evening reading the wonderful poetry on offer here today, so without further ado link up your work, visit your friends, welcome a new guest and let's talk poetry.

Hey Kerry and Isadora! Imagine the first day of school in January! I hope that means that the air is cooling toward autumn.

I'm posting a ribbon poem.

I still have a little longer of summer holidays! But I'm sure I will feel the same way when I return to school! Right now, I have been struggling to find my poetic pen - other than haiku! And the struggle has been happening since I wrote final year reports!

Kerry, I so hope that you will get pleasure from being back at school. Do the buildings have air-conditioning?
We will miss your inspiring prompts but the Easter hols will soon be there. Meanwhile enjoy your 'September' weather.

Good luck and bon courage for the return to work.

I don't know why, but my better poems all seem to come from wordles. Once again, I've linked this week's wordle
